Help a Family This Holiday  Season

 As we enter the season of    giving, we invite you to participate in our Giving Tree to support families

 in need within our Parish  Family.

A tree has been placed at the back of the church, adorned with donation tags. Each tag represents a gift that will help brighten someone’s holiday.

We encourage you to:

Choose a tag from the tree

Return your donation to the Parish Office or place it in the collection basket at Mass

All donations are due by December 4th.

Thank you for your generosity and for helping make the season a little brighter for those who need it most.

Memorial donations for Christmas flowers in honor or loved ones need to be received by Sunday, December 14th. Make sure to mark who the memorial is for on your envelope. Donations can be put in the weekly offertory at Mass or dropped off at the Parish Office.

Suggested donation is $25.

Please join us on Wednesday, December 3, for the annual Advent by Candlelight Dinner.  This is a time to gather socially with other women of the church and the community.  We will have a fellowship time starting at 6:00pm with dinner to be served at 6:30pm.  Please feel free to bring your favorite wine or beer.  

Please consider hosting a table.  Tables will be set for 8 people.  As hostess you will be responsible for the table decoration, which needs to include candles or some sort of lighting. You will also be responsible for collecting money from the guests at your table.  Table service will be provided.  Chargers may be used.  PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN DISHES.  Please contact Cindy Abrahamson at (641) 660-2070 or by email at abefam2000@yahoo.com to reserve a table.  If you don’t want to host a table, but would like to attend, please contact Cindy and she will place you at a table.  A short program will follow the meal.
This year’s meal will be ham balls, sweet potato casserole, green beans w/ bacon & almonds and the side salad w/ dressings, a roll and a dessert. The cost will be $20 per plate.  There will also be a gluten-free option.  Please have your guests let you know if they would like the gluten-free meal.

Join the Men’s Group on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Wednesdays of the month from 6:00pm-7:00pm  in the downstairs of the church.

Great opportunity to have fellowship with other men of the parish as you study and grow in faith.

The Women’s Group meets weekly on Tuesdays at 6:00pm at the Parish Center. They are studying the Gospel of Matthew.
